ONLINE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
If you are interested in using the online application for a Water Discharge/Fire Test Permit , please read the instructions below.

THE FOLLOWING ARE THE MAIN REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING ONLINE:


No. 1   
This permit is valid for the discharges of water into the roadway.  An onsite inspection by a Street Investigator is required.

No. 2   
The applicant has to fill in all the fields that are marked with *, otherwise the application will not be accepted by the server.

Applicant will see a message on the screen after submitting the application form, indicating that his/her application was successfully submitted and a Reference No. is issued to that application. Please provide this reference number if you need to call our offices.


No. 3  
Applicants can check the status of their permits online 24 hours a day.
All permits that are completely processed by our staff will be available online for applicants to print out. 


No. 4  
Applicants must notify the Department of Building and Safety and Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) 5 days prior to test.
